I started my childcare journey when I was doing work experience and I haven't looked back since. I started as a practitioner and along the way I have worked my way up and I am now Manager at this wonderful nursery. I have completed two degrees in early years, gaining my B.A (Hons) which I am extremely proud of. Childcare for me is a privilege to be a part of, and being apart of a child's start in life and giving them tools and experiences, they need to continue is the best part of my job and wonderful to see how they flourish and develop.

Working with children is my passion. My job is to care and provide for the children. I love to help them learn and develop. Watching them grow in the fun environment that we provide here is very rewarding.

I have been working in childcare for 19 years. I enjoy spending time with children and watching them change from being small babies who need lots of care to becoming independent pre-school children preparing for school. As a parent myself I understand how important the early years are and I enjoy creating exciting activities that are fun for the children and help them to develop their skills in the EYFS.

14 years ago at the age of 17 I made the best decision that would turn into my absolute love and passion and that is childcare. I have worked in many nurseries over the years, who have helped me gain so much knowledge, experience and love for the work I do. I love to help young minds grow and develop and watching them progress as they move up through different age and stages in the nursery, before going to school.

After becoming a big sister at the age of 12, I knew that childcare was the career for me. After nearly 20 years working in day nurseries and having 3 children of my own, I still love my job and strive to give the children in my care the best start to their education. Working with children is more than just a job, it is a passion and no day is the same. I love watching children grow from when they start, to when they leave to go to school, it is a wonderful journey to see them flourish as they gain the vital early life skills they need.
