IT’S FESTIVAL WEEK
Tuesday 27 August
This week is all about celebrating the final week of summer holidays and having fun with our friends before we start the new school year. Today we will make friendship bracelets and necklaces, we will play with our favourite sensory material Oobleck with sparkles this time and we will test our fine motor skills with hama beads. There will be traditional fun fair games like Hook-a-Duck, Lucky Dip and the Guessing Booth and we will make and devour homemade doughnuts. Here will be a park visit and sporting activities too.
Wednesday 28 August
We are off to the cinema today to enjoy one final movie before the return to school. On our way back we will stop by the local park to play on the equipment and play some group games with friends. We will create some abstract art, play the lollipop ring toss game and try our luck at Ball in a Bucket. Our sensory activity today will involve cloud dough and there will be a wide rage of sports and art & craft activities to choose from.
Thursday 29 August
We are back in the kitchen today making scrumptious Victoria sponge cake pops. We will enjoy a game of Tin Can Alley, leap frog and the cornhole game. We will play balloon darts and create a masterpiece from junk! Our daily park visit will involve a group game and some free time.
Friday 30 August
Wow, what a summer! The last day of club is always wild. We end every summer holiday club with pizza and a disco and this year we have taken the party to a whole new level. We have Sass & Sparkles coming to do amazing face painting and a Disco Man to get the party going. There will be Domino’s pizza, an ice-cream van and a whole range of activities and games including Spin the Candy Wheel and Prize Punch Board.
Each day, children can take part in a variety of sport and physical activities like basketball, football, skipping, bouldering and bench ball, as well as enjoy a variety of free-time activities including board games, colouring in, Lego competitions, group games, and a wide selection of arts and crafts materials to choose from.
Please note: While we do plan to visit the park every day, this is weather dependent.
