HOLIDAY CLUB

JUNIORS (3-6 YEARS)

Animal Week

Tuesday 28 May - Friday 31 May 2024
Cost: £39.50 per day (plus additional charge for special events and excursions)

Join us for an exciting week filled with activities centred around exploring various animal species. We will enjoy team and individual games, arts and crafts, and cooking, and we will immerse ourselves in the great outdoors, including daily park visits for activities like rounders, football, and tag (weather permitting).

Our May half-term holiday club theme is 'Animal Week,' offering a line-up of engaging activities exploring the wonders of spring through physical and creative play.

  • Tuesday: Craft your own animal masks for role-playing, create peacock paper plates with feathers and glitter, and make animal shortbread biscuits. Engage in a game of dodgeball and team up to build dens.
  • Wednesday: Embark on an adventure with your favourite teddy bears, visiting the local library for exciting stories read by the animated librarians, and enjoy a Teddy Bear’s Picnic at the park, along with a game of football (weather permitting).
  • Thursday: Dive into sensory activities like exploring animals wallowing in mud and Oobleck, painting chickens, and creating butterfly snack bags. Try your hand (no pun intended) at making finger and sock puppets and create a group performance to share with others. We will finish off the day playing the Honey Bear game at the park (weather permitting).
  • Friday: End the week by making our own playdough and creating playdough animals, playing farm group games, creating lion blow paintings, enjoying sand and water play outdoors, and participating in a show and tell session where children can share their favourite animal soft toys.

Each day, children can take part in a variety of sport and physical activities like basketball, football, skipping, bouldering and bench ball, as well as enjoy a variety of free-time activities including board games, colouring in, Lego competitions, group games, and a wide selection of arts and crafts materials to choose from.

We can't wait to see you there!
